1968 Ford Falcon FuturaThis is a custom classic car that has been restored a few years ago. Car has always been garaged since being restored. This was my holiday and special event cruiser. The car was repainted approximately 3 years ago in a nice 2 stage custom paint that cost me well over 4 grand. Upholstery was also redone in tan vinyl matching the original pattern ($2500). I had the wheels custom built in Campbell, California at the Wire Wheel King formerly Zenith Wire Wheels. I paid $5,200 for wire wheels and Vogue tires. Car has rebuilt 289 engine with mild cam with new 2 barrel Holley carburetor. Engine compartment was also painted a gloss black when car was painted. C4 transmission was also rebuilt at same time as engine. The entire suspension was just redone and entirely replaced with new parts as well as front disc break conversion. Grill, front and rear bumber were all re chromed when car was painted. There is a custom electric tilt/ slide sunroof installed in car. Car has new gas tank. ** These cars are notorious for the fuel gauge to stop working. I have fixed mine numerous time by replacing fuel sending unit and it always stops working again so I just gave up and fill the gas tank whenever I decide to drive car**
