Thousands in receipts - almost everything on this car is new. Mechanically the car has been gone through - Engine rebuilt approximately 11,000 ago. Originally a 1500cc engine - bored out to a 1641cc. Within the last 1000 miles the engine and transmission were pulled, necessary parts serviced and/or replaced and then resealed. All electrical is in great working order. The car is ready to be enjoyed. This beautiful 1969 VW Beetle / Bug was restored approximately 2 1/2 years ago. The paint is beautiful - looks even nicer in person than in the photos. The bug has always been in sunny dry California and still retains it original rust free pans and sheet metal. The bug runs and drives excellent - I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere. The car starts right up, idles nice and has plenty of power. It will cruise at 70 mph on the freeway with no problems. The transmission is 4 speed - no grinding with shifts up or down. I have tried to take close ups so you can see whats on the surface and whats underneath all the beauty.Although the car is not perfect, it is as nice a VW Bug you will find that has not had a frame off restoration. Fly out and drive this one home.
