After insurance totaled our main car, we bought this little 1992 Toyota Camry Deluxe to get us by until we found our new car.We have bought a new car, so this one has been sitting, so we've decided it is time to sell it. It is a 1992, has 246,586 miles on it. A young man hit us, lol, so has some duct tape and zip ties holding some of the front end in places. It needs the oil checked regularly. It doesn't burn it, but may be losing it around the valve cover gaskets? It needs shocks. The wiper blades need replaced and the washer fluid res needs replaced. The exhaust is loud and obviously needs replaced. It is a five speed manual, but slips out of fifth, so we drive it as a four speed. Inquired to have it fixed and the cost was higher than the value of the car, so they said, just drive it as a four speed and has worked fine for us that way. I just don't drive over 50-55 and only local. I wanted to be sure to point out the negatives. Now on the positive items, the front tires are both new, it gets me from point a to point b. It is not perfect but for a get around town car, it works. The cruise, air and heat work, its pretty much free of rust. The idle seems low to me and sometimes wants to act like it might die at a long stop light. I just turn off the air so it isn't pulling it down. If it dies, I just start it back up and go. This isn't a treasure but it is functional. Daily driver long distance, NO. Daily around a small town, yes.Listed locally also so will end if sold prior to bids.
