Vehicle Detail
Condition: This is a great looking project car that needs some TLC. Paint job is 10 tears old, and car will need some work on interior. Car starts and runs. It is a 1970 Challenger (not an R/T), though it has an R/T hood and emblems. The engine is a 318 with 340 heads. Car is undercoated and frame is solid. Hood and rear quarter panels were replaced with new parts. Video: History: I purchased this Challenger as a project car in the 90's. Most of the work was done 10 years ago. Since then it has been garage kept, but time has had an affect on the aesthetics. I replaced the hood and rear quarters with new pieces, as well as he front and real valences, and dual exhaust tips. Replaced the grill with a used one. Vin#: The Vin# on the dash is not correct; the dash was replaced at some point and the previous owner didn't care to preserve the original dash VIN tag. The numbers stamped on the body under the hood (in three different places) all match. To clear up and validate this issue, the State of Pennsylvania (PENNDOT) issued a special VIN# reflecting the same (original) numbers under the hood (see photos), and indicating that it is a 1970 Challenger. The title is clear; this car was never stolen. Pennsylvania doesn't issue special VINs for stolen cars. Buyer is responsible for transport. Car is sold as is with no warranty. Cash, cashiers check or money order only, once funds have cleared the vehicle will be released.
