1974 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Royale, 72k original miles, long time original ownership, now I am the 3rd owner. Was Estate car down the Cape most its life. Runs and drives perfect, needs nothing mechanically, mostly original with one older repaint in the original color, the only body works was on the right rear quarter in front of wheel well, other wise it has had no other rust repair. Body is starting to rust on the lower portions all around but the floor and frame excellent, the trunk is solid with only a small area near the right wheel well showing rust. The chrome is presentable but tired especially on the top surfaces, some paint is flaking on the filler panels, along with other misc defects. Top works well but canvas is bad and has some patches, it will keep you out of the rain but should be replaced. Car was stored inside so the top was never very important to the previous owners. Interior is very good, no cracks in the dash, everything works, nice carpeting, seats are very good with only one small seam split on drivers seat bottom, power windows works but left rear has a bad roller and needs help, AC works! and blows cold!, 350 V8 engine runs smooth and strong, trans shifts perfect brakes work great. Bottom line this is a turn key car that can be driven anywhere and used just the way it is or use it this summer and do a straight forward restoration over the winter. That was my plan and still will be if no one takes advantage of driving a turn key convertible to enjoy right away. Will consider interesting trades even, up or down. Classis, antiques, muscle cars, old race cars, drag cars, trucks, 4x4's, Camaro. Firebird, Nove, Chevelle, Monte Carlo, Torino, etc. Please no boats, already have 2.
