Vehicle Detail

1963 Studebaker Daytona Wagonaire Vehicle Description: You are bidding on a 1963 Studebaker Daytona Wagonaire. This 1963 Studebaker Daytona Wagon has the following: · Sliding Roof that opens · 289 V8 Engine · Auto Transmission · Disc Brakes · Power Tailgate · Optional Roof Rack We purchased this car from Boulder Colorado. We haven’t had time to do anything with it, but purchased some parts while it was in storage. It starts easily, runs nice and drives. Body It shows signs of some previous rust in in fenders and rockers, but is pretty solid from dry Colorado area. The car previously was repainted cheaply, but fine for daily driving. The front grill and tailgate got pushed in on left side. We bought a NOS chrome grill that comes with car. Brakes The brakes work fine but older rubber flex hoses feel hard, so we purchased the following to install: · New Rear Brake Shoes · New Rear Kits for Wheel Cylinders · New Front Brake Pads · New Front Seals · New Front & Rear Brake Flex Hoses These items are included with the car Transmission We had the pan gasket replaced along with a new Trans Filter. The transmission looked to have been rebuilt with no residue in pan when removed. Tires Tires have good tread, but are starting to crack from age and should be replaced. Interior Previous owner put new seat covers on and fine to drive, or redo original. Headliner is still there, but they were made of cardboard and could use a replacement. Dash has warpage and cracks. It comes with a nicer dash. Previous owner put new carpet in and looks good. Engine Engine starts and runs very good. The water pumps is working, but making noise, so we bought a new water pump (will be included with car). A new upper radiator hose is included with car. Glass Windshield has a crack. Another Windshield with one small rock chip is included with car. A great car to use as a driver, or restore as a unusual show car. Here is a picture of a restored 1963 Studebaker Wagon pulling a Airstream trailer. A nice classic car that are fun to drive and useful as a SUV. A nice vintage car that is fun to drive at a reasonable price. Door to door shipping is available or you can pick up the car in person. The car is located in Bellingham, Washington 98225.
