Vehicle Detail
1956 Buick Century 4 Door Sedan. This car was found in the barn of an Estate here locally. It has been parked since 1989 under cover & out of the elements. You will notice the picture taken of it in the barn when I found it, then on the trailer & the rest of the pictures are current. The owner told me it ran and drove into the barn under its own power and hadn't been touched since. The body is straight & in great shape (passenger side lower rocker is the only little imperfection but can be fixed w/out the use of filler). There is NO RUST, only a few surface rust spots as you see in the pictures (nothing goes through the metal). The quarter panels, trunk pan, rocker panels and floor pans are all in fantastic shape. It is rare to find an old Buick as solid as this one. All original 322ci V8 Nailhead with DynaFlow Automatic transmission. It also has factory power steering & brakes. I have replacement glass for the drivers side wing window, the drivers side rear window does have a crack but still rolls up and down. I put a battery in it and the engine cranked then it sounded as if the starter started making a clicking sound, but all the lights and blinkers worked when battery was hooked up. There are some parts in the trunk that were with it when I bought it & I will include with the car along with the chrome upper grille piece that needs installed. The interior is all intact as well and in good condition. I loved the pink/white color combo & had big plans to finish this one but I have a '41 Chevy I just picked up that I have been enjoying this Summer & need more space back in the garage. This car is complete and it wouldn't take someone much to get it back on the road again. That being said it is still a restoration project, but an excellent start because it is so solid and complete. Car does not run and there is no warranty written or implied. The car has a clear WA state title. Please only bid if you are serious buyer & have the money to purchase car. Buyer is to arrange for and pay for all shipping and handling costs involved. There is a $500 deposit due within 24hrs of auction end and the remainder of the vehicle must be paid for within 3 days of auction end. I am willing to keep car stored in garage until arrangements are made on buyers end for shipping. That being said, it must be within a reasonable time frame & can be discussed after purchase. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. Thank you
