1964 CHRYSLER NEW YORKER SALON 4 DOOR HARDTOP. 413 max wedge engine. Motor has been rebuilt w/very mild cam. Push button transmission rebuilt w/shift kit. Car has been lowered about 2". Custom welded dual exhaust. $4,000.00 professional paint job 5 years old. Vinyl top was removed and top sanded and painted burgundy color. No rust through anywhere ever. This car was restored properly about 5 years ago. Even the cruise control and air conditioning work. I was told it is 1 of 167 New Yorkers made in 1964 optioned this way. The car needs a little TLC, but is a very solid and very good running and driving car. Sounds great too! Tires have probably 85% life left. There are 2 or 3 very small areas where there are bubbles under the paint - maybe 1 or 2" in diameter. This car is NOT full of mud. The body is solid and metal, not putty. There are some spots in the trunk area where the top clear coat has flaked off. The drivers leather seat is separated at the seam. Floorboards and trunk are solid. The biggest problem with this car is that the heater core needs repaired/replaced. It has been bypassed. I would not hesitate to drive this car cross country as it sits. A great cruise in classic car. If buyer is out of town you can fly in and drive it home or arrange shipping. $500 paypal deposit due day of sale with balance to be paid within 5 days.
