Vehicle Detail
Up for sale on this auction is a car I just don't drive much anymore and would rather sell that let sit. I have done quite a bit of work on this car since I bought it. I have upgraded the intake manifold, changed out the PCM when the original failed last year, added a class III receiver hitch ( 3500 lbs type ), Curtis tow light kit, put in new battery and connectors this spring, Rear Shock Absorbers, some say struts, as well as having the car serviced every 3000 miles. The A/C is ice cold and in the winter, the car will heat you out. Everything works. This car starts every time with in first few cranks, no matter how cold or how long it has sat. I would not have any problem driving to California and back, so to speak. The headlights are nice and bright at night. The negative as of right now. When I upgraded the Intake Manifold, I snapped off one of 4 bolts that hold the Throttle Body on so when the outside temp is high, the car will make a honk noise, the other 3 are secure. When I put on the rear shocks / struts, I noticed that the brakes will need replaced in the next 8,000 - 10,000 miles. It has a minor shimmy that does not effect drive-ability and I have checked that out. It is the lower control arm on the drivers side front. It has some small movement with weight off the wheel. I had to disconnected the keypad due to it having a short and running down the battery as well as leaving on the interior lights. The windshield is cracked and has been since I owned it, has not gotten worse and is not really a vision obstruction so it has not been an issue with law enforcement in my area. The cruise is currently not functioning and has not since I bought. I have tried changing the cruise module without success. I am including the old one in the sale. It could be in the switch on the steering wheel. That is all I am aware of at this time. I will be taking on for service this week so when you pick it up, it will be already to go on your next adventure!
