Up for sale is a clean 1987 Mercedes-Benz 560SL Roadster in the highly desirable Smoke Silver with Tobacco Brown leather interior. The car has upgraded chrome SL wheels and both hard and soft tops. Overall condition for the car is good, but it is almost 30 years old and has 121,500 miles on it. It has the typical wear and tear as a 30 year old car would. The paint is shiny, with two small surface rust spots on the passenger door and one on the front fender. The driver's door has a small dent below the door handle. Overall the paint still shines, the car drives straight, and it is still a head turner. I replaced the exhaust from the cat back last summer. I also just spent $500 replacing the transmission pan gasket as it was leaking trans fluid from sitting all winter. They need to be driven! I have approximately $8500 invested in the car total since I bought it. I've put approximately 5000 miles on the car since I got it in May of 2013. Interior is in great shape with no tears or rips in the leather interior. Car has the original radio and cassette deck. Cruise control works, power windows work, vacuum locks work. AC is inoperable, but I never did anything with it as the car never came out unless it was sunny and could have the top down as long as I owned it. I have ALL maintenance records on the car. For a 30 year old car, it still runs like a bat out of h#ll as one would expect an SL to and screams to go faster when you're cruising at 85mph on the freeway.
