Pictured for sale is a 1966 Ford Mustang GT Fastback project. This is a very complete, rare and well documented A-code GT. This is an original one owner car purchased new in Tampa, FL. After purchase, the owner moved and was issued the current title. This Mustang is the attractive Vintage Burgundy color with a Pony Parchment interior. It is loaded with options including power steering, auto. trans., air conditioning, deluxe interior and of course the GT equipment group. This is all still present and can be verified by the original window sticker and Bill of Sale for this car! (Better than a Marti report-see pics!) The fastback is quite rusty and will need extensive metal repairs but is very complete other than the a/c compressor and it has a Holley carb instead of the original Autolite 4v. There will be no need to hunt around for the correct date coded part to complete the restoration. No attempt has been made to start or turn the engine over. The interior is complete including the fold down rear seat, interior trim, and all fastback specific items are present including the glass. There is a clear title and the Vin is clearly stamped in the fender apron along with the driver's side door tag. This is an excellent "sweat equity" project if much of the metal work can be completed in house. When finished, the owner would have a very desirable, valuable and ORIGINAL 66 GT Fastback. With little investment, It would be a real Mustang Fastback- not a clone. And with the included documentation, it would be worth that much more. The Mustang is located in Chicago Illinois, 60656. A non refundable payment of $300 is required within 24 hrs of the close of the auction to secure the vehicle. If a deposit is not received the sale will be cancelled and a non-payment strike against the winning bidder will be issued. Considerable time and money is invested to present these auctions and it is my hope that the winning bidder considers this before entering a bid. Full payment is required within 7 days of the close of the auction via cash or a secure wire transfer, and pick up is required within a week unless prior arrangements are made.The seller will assist in loading the vehicle, however shipping arrangements are the buyer's responsibility.
