This is a 1998 323is with somewhere around 130000 miles on the clock. The odometer cuts in and out (short in the LEDs), so exact milage is hard to say. It was in the high 120s when I last saw the milage. It has been parked for about 6 months and is currently registered as a non-op, has been started a few times within that time. This was my first car, and it was a loyal companion for many years. I believe I am the third owner. Unfortunately, a bunch of idiot mechanics backed another car into it while it was in the shop, and had to replace the whole front end. I noticed cooling system problems happening a short while after that. I had had problems with the water pump before, so I didn't think much of it. Then the car overheated on the freeway, and had to be towed back to the shop. A couple of different mechanics told me there is likely a problem with a bearing, and the engine would have to be rebuilt. It's not worth it to me to fix it, so I've decided to sell.
