     Up for auction is a fully restored 1986 Honda Shadow VT1100C. Bike was taken down to the bare frame and rebuilt from the ground up. All gaskets, o-rings, seals, fluids (fork oil, engine oil, gear oil, brake fluid, antifreeze) were replaced. Includes owners manual, service manual, and factory tool kit. All receipts available for inspection. A partial list of parts replaced includes:  All exhaust gaskets,  Uni air filter,  Oil filter,  Fuel filters,  NGK Iridium spark plugs,  Master clutch and brake cylinder sight glasses (with real glass, not the cheap plastic),  Master clutch and brake cylinder seals and banjo crush washers and rubber boots,  Hand Grips,  Seat covers,  Fork seals and dust wipes,  Clutch plates and springs,  Clutch slave cylinder seals,  Clutch push rod crankcase seal,  Brake caliper seals and pads,  Swing arm bearings and seals,  Carbs ultrasonically cleaned, rebuilt with new jets and synched (low speed jets increased two sizes to prevent lean popping),  Battery with Battery Tender connector installed,  Radiator cap, thermostat and o-ring,  Antifreeze replaced with Engine Ice racing antifreeze,  New gas tank decals (covered with clear coat when tank was repainted),  New side cover decals,  All metal polished from the front forks to the rear brake hub and triple tree to the engine cases and cam covers, engine cooling fins and voltage regulator fins,  All bolts and screws either polished or replaced with chrome or stainless steel where needed,  Stator wire connectors replaced with high current waterproof ones (common failure area on these bikes),      This bike runs smooth and quiet like a Honda should. I put ~500 miles on it since last summer when these pictures were taken with no problems, and the only reason I'm selling is because I have five other bikes in the garage and I'm out of room. This is probably the cleanest and nicest Shadow you will find on eBay. The 85 and 86 model year Shadows are higher horsepower than later years and have a five speed trans, where in later years they went to a lower compression motor. All gauges and lights work as they should. There is one small ding on the left muffler right by the area where the center stand folds up, but I couldn't find a better muffler to replace it as of yet. Tires are in very good shape with no dry rot. I would not hesitate to ride this bike cross country with no worries. If you have any questions, please ask before bidding. Thanks for looking!
