Vehicle Detail
Great running and looking truck has newer 302 with a 2bbl and serpentine belt, running a C4 with a brand new torque converter. Just put on a fresh coat of Acrylic Enamel as Primer since I really hate gray primer. You can call it the final coat or fix up any flaws easily as their readily available colors. It has a set of 91 F150 rims on it with nice tires. The motor runs really strong and the body is very straight as I did no bodywork, just sanded with 120 grit and put on several coats of paint. Even has the original rubber floormat! I just repacked the front wheel bearings, brakes are good but getting to be time to replace the shoes. The bench seat could use reupholstered, the exhaust needs mufflers, other than that just drive it! Get's a big thumbs up anytime someone checks it out, gotta have a longbed if you want to haul your Harley to Sturgis! Getting harder to find these without being a total rust bucket. It is not rust free I put picture's up showing where. Before I primered I used Extend which create's an Epoxy type coating out of the rust. The floorboards still feel solid but have some surface rust. All fenders and wheel wells are in great shape as are the doors. This truck is for sale locally on CL but I will not pull it off Ebay if there are open bids.On Jun-20-15 at 08:22:44 PDT, seller added the following information: I plan on changing the Hood Stripes to a Satin Black and doing a Red Pinstripe between the 2 paint lines down the sides, gonna remove the Hood Emblems don't really care for them. Tailgate is now on and fitted, as in no rattle's opens and closes easily. I like the no bumper thing as the tailgate swings straight down out of the way. I have a good spare tire for it. It was driven around town by the previous owner but no long trips. I lost my license due to medical so a truck with no muffler's might get me pulled over pretty quickly around here, which means I have only driven it around the Ranch. Great running father son or daughter project go to the car show or just haul hay
