Simply exceptional and rare color combination Chrysler Maserati TC. This is the final year for these truly rare collector cars. In 1991 they all came with the Mitsubishi 3.0 V6 and a four speed automatic. They finally got it right! The white with the tan is very rare, and clearly sparkles in the sun. The former owner spent a ton on this car and literally replaced all the hand stitched Italian leather and every square inch of carpeting, including the trunk. The top is new and so is the liner. Just ran it through a high pressure car wash and not a drop of water inside. I just recently drove this car from Wisconsin to Ohio, and with the hard top installed it is a whisper silent road warrior. Engine and transmission work flawlessly…as does everything else. That includes Cold Air, power seats, power locks and windows, cruise control, tilt steering, power trunk release, map lights, stereo (can't get the cassette to work). Car has a perfectly clean CARFAX report and spent most of its life in Utah and Texas. There simply is no rust. Tires are good and notice it has the Maserati road wheels. Anti lock brakes work flawlessly. Only bad thing I can say is there is a chip on the front air dam from a curb that can easily be fixed. And the original owner modified the top pull down mechanism with a special hinged wrench and it works wonderfully. The buttons for the tonneau cover work perfectly. Last week being compulsive I replaced the rack and pinion steering and the tie rod ends. It now corners like a real Maserati, like it is on rails. Comes with owners manual and shop manual. Oh yes one flaw. The power antenna is no longer power. I just raise it and lower it by hand, Not a big deal. If you are looking for a car for golf or the beach that will absolutely astound your friends…this is your car. People approach me all the time and ask what is it. And I say Maserati. BUT when it comes to spare parts…this is a Chrysler! Got the rack and pinion and tie rod ends online for $200. Best of both worlds in my mind. Late Note: I pride myself on my 100% favorable rating on ebay, and have probably sold 10 cars in three years. That always includes full disclosure of defects. Honest is clearly the best policy. I just remembered the gas gauge is only working intermittently…comes on and off. So I just set the tip odometer at -0- at fill up and tell myself the range is in the 250-300 mile zone. No big deal to me but wanted it listed. Secondly I have had several questions about drivability. I have only owned this car for about a month and have put over 1,000 miles on it, including local and interstate. It gets 24 mpg and there are NO driving issues. Just answered a question about whether the car could be driven from Ohio to Washington, and I said yes. Full disclosure department. THE ONLY reason I am selling this car is I have a found a super low mileage Cadillac Allante that I am buying so I am going home to my first love. I have had ten of them over the years. Out driving the Maserati this afternoon and three people stopped me to took at the car, and the landscape guy at a red light gave it a thumbs up. Boy I hope I am not making a mistake selling this car.
