Up for auction are two 1981 CM 400 A Motorcycles. The rare, British racing green bike is in good running condition with a new battery and plugs. The electric and kick start work great. It drives and shifts well. The automatic is easy to operate. The tank is in excellent condition with key lock. The side covers are replacements and are just painted black. The lights work as they should. the chrome has some pitting but this is a bike ready for restoration. it only has 1441 miles on the odometer. Unfortunately, I do not have the title to this bike but I do have a clear PA title for the red bike. The red bike was parked in a garage approximately 20 years ago and is in good shape but it is currently not running. It has 8730 miles on it with a free turning motor. I have not changed the plugs, put fresh gas in it or tried to jump it since I have had this bike. Who knows it might start up with just a little help. There are many good parts on the red bike or it can be restored as well. The hard bags are the only set that I have seen. I do know that the original owner wrecked into a ditch and parked it after that. It is the closest thing to a 400 full dresser that I have seen. A complete under the seat tool kit and an original manual ( that has seen better days) goes with the bikes. These two bikes are very collectible!
