You are bidding on a 1992 Limited Summer Edition 5.0L LX Mustang convertible in very good to excellent condition. The car is beautiful and has only 22K original miles on it and runs perfectly. All motorized parts are working properly with no major issues. There are two minor (easily remedied) issues: The rear driver window regulator works, but the window needs a little "help" sometimes going up (a regulator for this costs around $40). The air conditioning is cool, but not ice cold. It will probably need to be charged in the near future. The tires are at 6, so more than half the life left (not sure if original tires or not - I did not replace them). This car has been garaged at all times, never driven in the winter or rain and has operated on high-octane gas only. As you can see by the pictures, the interior is super, super clean with no rips, tears, stains, holes or wear in the upholstery, top or panels. The exterior is near perfect and in amazing condition given that the car is 23 years old with no dings or dents anywhere. The paint is not faded anywhere and still holds the bright red shine. The vinyl top is in great condition with no wear (small light grayish marks here and there, but no wear at all). It has the interior headliner, which was not available on prior LX models. Carpet is a rich black with no wear at all. The engine is super clean and runs tight and fast. All original equipment is on the vehicle with the exception of the muffler, which was put on by the prior owner to get that muscle-car sound. I have the original muffler as well, which will go with the car. The car has a current PA inspection good until May of 2016. All mechanicals, fluids, etc. were checked on this car with no defects noted. So feel confident in your bidding! I love this car, but am selling it because I already have a 1992 5.0 LX (fixer-upper) and my son is soon to turn 16 and will need a "practical" car to drive (and he can't have this car - too fast for a 16-yr-old in my opinion). So-o-o-o, his and my loss is someone else's gain, because this beautiful fox body turns heads everywhere she goes. When I purchased this car, I had looked high and low for one this clean with such low miles. This car will not disappoint the fox body and/or Mustang enthusiast/collector! It is priced to sell as I no longer have the garage space for this beautiful car. This car is one of three Fox Body mustangs that are sure to be a classic and there were only 2193 cars of this model made in May of 1992, with Ford's hope that they would boost sales of this stream-lined convertible. I have looked all over and have found very few with this low mileage at the price I am asking. The car comes with a manual and two sets of keys - 2 for the ignition and 2 for the doors/trunk. I have title in hand but I do not have the original sticker. The boot looks like it has only been used for pictures - it is the original and looks brand new (see picture). The floor mats are in new condition and were purchased by me, as there were no mats in the car when I got it. Please look at all the pictures and email with any questions (Lori).
