Vehicle Detail

0 0 1 343 1959 creative 16 4 2298 14.0 Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE 1954 Studebaker Commander Starlight Regal Coupe You are looking at a beautiful Raymond Lowey coupe. This was one of only 86 built in Hamilton, Ontario Canada in 1954 and has a gold Canadian maple leaf emblem on the dash. It had a ground-up-to-factory-original restoration in 1995, including the upgraded interior that is unique to the 1954 V8 Regal Coupe. I have many of those 1995 restoration records that will be included with the car, along with my service records since 2007, when I purchased the car on eBay. Shop Manual, Parts Catalog, and original Owner’s Manual also included, along with bumper guards and some unused parts. The car runs well and has been a joy to own. It is a one-man parade that turns heads and does well at the local shows (trophies included). · 120 horsepower, 232 cubic inch OHV V8 with oil filter· 3 speed Automatic Transmission· 2 speed climatizer air flow system· 2 speed electric wipers with “pump action” windshield washers· 8 tube “Studebaker Philco” pushbutton AM radio (nonworking)· Electro-mechanical clock (nonworking)· Interior under dash and overhead courtesy lights· Complete chrome window surround and tinted glass· 15” whitewall tires (less than 1500 miles), with wire wheel caps· Upgraded 1954 V8 Regal Coupe Interior· Ground-up to factory original condition in 1995 The rubber window weather-strips & window channel fuzzies are dry and could use replacement, but these are a simple inexpensive DIY project. Very small paint bubbles at both front fenders (pictured), small chip in windshield. The mileage is 71,600 on the odometer. Mileage could not be verified when I bought the car so I also cannot verify—MA title states 999,999 because of unverifiable mileage. This car is sold "as is" with no warranty. Buyer must pick up or make shipping arrangements and will be responsible for all related costs. A $500 deposit is required thru Paypal, within 72 hrs. Buyer will pay balance with cash, bank check, or money order. Title will be released when car is picked up, along with a bill of sale after payment has cleared. I am not a dealer or an expert and I have done my best to describe this beautiful Studebaker. This car is sold "as is", so please look closely at all pictures and ask any questions you might have before bidding. The car is available for inspection in Western MA. --Thanks for looking.
