Classic 1961 Econoline van partially restored and ready for weekend fun. This is a head turner and makes everyone smile who sees it! Great for surfing with your buddies or for family enjoyment. The following is a list of things done:One small rust spot on passenger floor I had cut out and welded back and the rest of floor has zero rust. The spot was approximately 4 inches by 4 inches.Peel and stick was installed to keep out gas fumes and noise prior to new carpet.On exterior there was one rust spot between front wheel and back wheel. It was cut out and new metal welded in its place followed by a thin layer of bondo.Prior to paint, the painter sanded entire van down and there was no other rust to be found, however there are small dents here and there.Bumpers were sanded and painted, as well. In pictures you can see that back bumper on drivers side is slightly pulled out.Seats were reupholstered.Four brand new Coker tires were installed.Van has new muffler and exhaust gasket.New master cylinder and front brake shoes were recently installed.Van has new synthetic oil, spark plugs, cap and roter, and new wires. Clutch and breaks were perfectly. Motor starts up every time, is very quiet, with no oil leaks. Straight 6 motors were built to last and this one runs strong. You will enjoy driving this van! There are still things to be done to make this van a complete restoration such as rubber gaskets in doors and windows and new interior door handles. Horn works, however, turn signals you have to turn on and off manually. Headliner is all made of original plyboard with a few scratches. Front doors and windows all open and close easily and seats are very comfortable. However, side and backdoor levers need to be tweaked. Mileage is unknown.
