Steering Column / Wheel: Tilt / telescopic with 4-Spoke Leather-Wrapped Wheel. Gauges: Dakota Digital and works as they should. If you know this series of Rare Buicks with high-end craftsmanship, you know a few important key points… They are Very Hot, HARD TO FIND, Very Collectable, Eye-Catching, offers modern ride/drive, trendy and fast! While it looks, rides and drives like a 6-figure priced car, it will be bought for a fraction of that and little expense was spared during its build. Everything works as they should and it scored a “Safety 23” at the NSRA Nats South in 2013. This professional grade 2-year build came out of an engineer’s shop in Tennessee towards the end of 2011. This vehicle was well thought out long before the year-long search for this California Rust-Free vehicle was found. This Series 46 Sport Coupe was built to drive and has had the necessary miles put on it breaking it in and making sure it is road-ready for Power Tours, cruises, shows, family trips, etc…IT DOES NOT RUN HOT!!! It stays at 186 or cooler and is supported with an external oil cooler, transmission cooler, mechanical fan and an electric pusher fan if needed. There are many subtle but significant modifications including but not limited to the 2” widened rear fenders, modified 2 “ widened running boards , push and release quick-fuel system, modern drive train, modern suspension, and this is just the outside… the inside compartment is equal to or nicer than the exterior with digital gauge instrumentation, beautiful custom interior materials and stitching, Stereo, Cold AC, Tilt/telescopic steering and is just very comfortable to drive. The door jams are very slick as is the dash and interior chrome / stainless. This Buick has zero rust issues and runs and drives like a new vehicle…”It Really is an Awesome Driver” it stops people in their tracks when you stop and they see the paint, interior or under the hood. It’s hard to pin-point your favorite thing about this coupe…is it the cool stance, the great color combination, the many subtle modifications, Ice-Cold Air, very tight ride & drive or just the look and sound of the engine! Either way it puts smiles on and you hear nothing but compliments. Things work as they should including but not limited to Headlight/Taillights, Signals, Interior dash, Gauges, Heat & A/C, Speedometer, Wipers, Horn, Stereo, etc… Get in, hit the key, turn on the AC and hit the road smiling…that is all it takes to have fun in this one…it was built to drive but at a nice level allowing you to show it with confidence. Is this Buick perfect? No and none of them are… the only thing that comes to mind is a small paint blemish near the bottom of the hood… you have to search to find it. I am stretching to find something here. It comes with left-over paint in case it is ever needed for serious touch ups.
