Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE 1983 BMW R65LS – Restored to New Condition Hans Muth, the legendary designer who created the BMW R100RS and the Suzuki Katana, designed the R65LS. The seller’s goal was to build a brand new R65LS and this example is in factory-new condition. The lead painter at D&D Classics of Covington, Ohio, a multiple Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance winner, did the body restoration and painting. Re-Psycle BMW of Lithopolis, OH, rebuilt built the motor. New or new old stock OEM replacement parts were used when available. Unavailable parts were professionally fabricated. The seller has all documentation and receipts from the restoration with about $17K invested. Everything is in full working order with new Metzeler tires. There are about 350 miles on the clock since being restored. Non-stock items are upgraded ignition, upgraded rear shocks (have the original shocks) and the mirrors (have the original mirrors). The motorcycle is located in Dayton, Ohio and personal inspection and a test ride are encouraged. If you are interested in a “new” R65LS please inquire.
