Pictured for sale is a 1966 Ford Mustang GT Fastback. The fastback is quite rusty and will need extensive metal repairs. This is an original "A" code GT Fastback as evidenced by the disk brakes, grill, wiring holes in the core support, fog light switch on dash, and the exhaust hangers in the back seat. The car originally had a 289 4v and a 4 speed trans., although both are long gone. The rear differential is missing some gears. The fold down rear seat and other interior trim, and fastback specific items are included. The front windshield and passenger side door glass is missing. The original color is antique bronze with a parchment interior. There is no data plate on the driver's door and there is NO TITLE. There are various ways to obtain a title if the purchaser wishes and a bill of sale for the vehicle will be included. This is an excellent "sweat equity" project if much of the metal work can be completed in house. When finished, the owner would have a very desirable, valuable and ORIGINAL 66 GT fastback. Please contact me prior to the close of the auction if you would like to inspect the car. The Mustang is for sale locally and the seller reserves the right to end the auction early. Also included in the sale as seen in the pictures is a very solid front clip that includes the frame rails, shock towers and cowl along with the rear frame rails and wheel houses from another 66 Mustang Gt. These frame rails are original Ford parts and are very clean and rust free. The last picture is a photo of how the Mustang looked originally. The Mustang is located in Chicago Illinois, 60656. A non refundable payment of $200 is required within 24 hrs of the close of the auction. Full payment is required within 7 days of the close of the auction and pick up is required within a week unless prior arrangements are made.The seller will assist in loading the vehicle, however shipping arrangements are the buyer's responsibility.
