This rare bullnose commando was restored last year. It runs and drives excellent once you get used to the manual steering. It has developed two small cracks in the dash that was repaired, but it's not to noticable. Here is a list of everything that was done that I can remember. Let me know if you have any questions. Frame:Solid, sanded down and painted eastwood chassis blackBody: All rust was cut out (mostly on lower rockers and inner wheel wells) and new metal welded in. -Skim coat of Evercoat's extreme rage-3 coats of marhyde 2k surfacer-3 coats of custom mixed tangerine twist single stage paintEngine: bored .30 over- RV cam -block and head machine work by progressive performance Glen allen,va-Weber 32/36 conversion-HEI distributor-egr block off-new radiator, hoses- runs excellent and holds over 60psi oil pressureTransmission:- new clutch-new flywheel- cleaned and filled with amsoil severe gear-all new u jointsBrakes:New master cylinder- all new lines- new shoes- new wheel cylindersThis jeep also has a new fuel tank, sender, all new 31" tires, and all gauges work as they should. The factory tailgate had too much rust, so a custom tailgate was built. It works great but needs the straps if it is going to be left open. Low reserve on this beautiful jeep.
