Although this bike is sold “as is” and "without warranty", I want you to be happy and therefore I encourage you to ask a question and not just assume something. Do not buy vintage motorcycles if you are expecting a new one. That would require a time machine. These bikes are not new and you should not expect a 40 year old motorcycle to be new because they are not. Also, please make sure you read the eBay protection plan as it does not cover vehicles older than 9 years so do not expect any kind of a warranty on the bike. Thank you and good luck! 1968 Honda CB450 "Black Bomber". I heard about this bike from a friend and I went to track it down and found it sitting in a garage and still owned by the son of the original owner. The father had passed it on to his son and the son was now unable to ride anymore so they were selling the bike. It has been in the same town its' entire life. As you can see, the bike is a complete original. The bike starts and runs decent and everything seems to work on it, however, I would recommend a full tune up and go through the whole bike before you ever decide to ride it around. The owner had recently put new Continental tires on the bike and he had replaced the speedometer because the old one quit working. It showed 10,760 original miles when replaced and the new one shows 1 mile. This motorcycle is complete and still has all of its' original oem components that came on the bike when new. The mufflers are very good. The paint is original and still shines well and the bike has all of the typical patina one would expect to find on a motorcycle that is almost 50 years old now. The tank has no dents and is very clean inside. (see picture). I owned one of these in college and I remember riding it everywhere all year, including in the winter and the bike always performed great. I think these bikes are almost indestructable. The tail light lense has a small hole in it. The right tank badge is after market. The left 450 emblem on the side cover is missing. The rims have rust on them from sitting. The spokes are real good and the wheels run out true. I did not see any issues with the running of the bike when I rode it, however, you need to understand that this is an old unrestored bike and i cannot warranty anything on the bike.
