Pretty nice old 68 IHC single wheel one ton. I've had it for about 35 years, had it running a couple summers ago and drove it some. It has a 345 with a 5 speed, 2 wheel drive, Toyo radials about ten or more years ago probably don't have 5,000 miles on them. It has a little rust but not too much. I had it repainted probably 20 years ago. Flatbed. Somewhere around 100,000 from new. I've had a water tank on it for fire fighting but I bought a different one, don't have much use for this anymore. It would be a good one to restore or just use as a farm truck. There is a little rust just ahead of the doors in the bottom of the fenders and a few other small spots here and there but over all, this is a great old Binder. I've had a dozen of them over the years and this was always my favorite. Tough as nails, it always started, no end of power and the gas mileage isn't that bad if you consider what it is pulling. It may take a little work to get it running since I haven't started it for a couple years. There is no battery as it sets, the fuel is probably nasty and I would suggest you haul it or ship it, check the engine over before you start it to make sure everything is OK. I can help get it loaded if you want to ship it or if you come to pick it up. This spent its life in dry and windy Montana so there is very little rust. It came from Shelby, has spent the last years of its life about 20 miles east of Helena on my hobby ranch. I was bought new by Walt Fields, who was a BIG farmer at Shelby, to haul a pickup camper to Arizona for the winter. He said nobody ever passed him except one "hopped up" Ford F250 owned by a neighbor of his in Montana. The 5 speed is an overdrive and this thing will really get down the highway. It also has factory AIR CONDITIONING although the compressor is gone. I took it in to get the A/C charged years ago and they said the compressor was shot so I didn't put it back on. I have no idea what every happened to it. It was just a universal type compressor. I put a couple new alternators on it over the years and remember having the brakes worked on at some point. I have no idea if it has brakes now, probably not. It is what International called a "single wheel one ton." I bought it from Walt's son about the time I started in the auction business so I know it was before 1980. I'm not sure when but I know I've had it 35 years or more. The mileage is original. 106053. It had about 45,000 on it when I bought it so I've only put on about 60,000 in 35 years. When I first went in the auction business we used it to pull our cashier trailer or equipment trailer. I put new Toyo radials on it and probably haven't driven it 5,000 miles since then but they are fairly old. I'm not sure when. The last few years it has mostly just set. The right gas tank has a hole in the bottom of it. It's a very cool old pickup and I hope it goes to an International collector who will love it like I have. I am getting old and downsizing and could use some money for a project I have. Here it goes..................... I tried to just remove the reserve completely but I guess you can't do that on ebay, so right now - 7:30 AM Montana time - it's at $1236, Fourteen more bucks and the reserve is off, it will have a new owner tonight. Also, I should have mentioned that the water tank doesn't go with it but I didn't. It is old and cracked and leaks, I guess if you really want it you can have it and the pump but I didn't intend to sell it with the pickup. I'll take it off if you don't want it, if it's a big deal to you I'll just leave it on there. If you are the buyer we'll work it out so you are happy. It disappeared years ago and I never got around to getting another one for it. IIRCC it has 7:50-16 tires so an wheel should be too hard to come up with.
