You are bidding on a car that i bought to build this past winter while i waited for what i really wanted {1972 "Q" code 4spd. Mach 1}. I was bored after semi-retiring and moving to Florida..I am not a dealer, nor a car flipper, but a Ford enthusiast having had over the years 2 Shelby mustangs, a Pantera, Ranchero, road race Maverick and a bunch of mustangs, race and street..This car was born in California but i bought it out of Alabama..It was a nice, solid car but had sat for a coupla years and was perfect to breathe life into while i waited for the Mach to arrive...I'll try to explain everything i've done to this car...As a side note, it will need a set of tires soon as this are starting to show some slight dry rot in the sidewalls from sitting...I didn't change them figuring the new owner could get the one's he wanted...This car was originally Lime Gold and an A/C car although i don't have the compressor and related components....Sold with a Alabama bill of sale and registration {no titles in Alabama before 1975} Engine....... 289 CI..The heads were gone through prior to me purchasing, freshened and put back on 4 Tube Headers Mild Cam Edelbrock Performer Intake manifold Holley 600 Vacuum secondary carb Ford Duraspark ignition Cast aluminum Air Cleaner and valve covers Brand new Power Steering Pump Brand new high torque mini starter Brand new battery and cables Radiator was sent out, pressure checked and deemed to be like brand new Brand new mufflers and pipes {throaty sounding} Transmission Rebuilt Ford AOD Brand new Lokar TV cable B&M Quicksilver Brand new shift cable Rear End 9" Ford with "N" case-3.25 gears Brakes 4 Wheel Disc Ford Explorer rear discs {Calipers and rotors brand new} Brand new steel lines and hoses on all 4 corners Brand new emergency brake cables Brand new power brake booster, master cylinder and proportioning valve Body The body was very solid, {maybe spent most of it's time in California?} Body was stripped to bare metal I did put on a new right rear whole 1/4 panel {melted the factory lead out where it meets the roof} and 2 new door skins...This was done not because of rust but way too much bondo for my liking accumulated over the years Tailight panel was changed at some point in it's life Right side floor pan had rusted through at the toe board and a little behind the seat so that was replaced with a full length one that i mig welded in I welded up {not just bondo} all the emblem holes...To me the emblems are just dirt and wax collectors, everyone knows it's a Mustangkikiki Driver side was good Brand new gas tank New outside door handles new Tailight bezels New front valance and rear gravel deflector New Back-up lights New front parking/signal lights New radio antenna New rear bumper-Front was good Billet grille brand new hood {the one that came with the car again had too much bondo} New gas cap New rocker and wheel open moldings New remote control mirror Painted a beautiful shade of burgundy that i mixed myself....Very nice..Basecoat/clearcoat...{i do have extra if needed} Suspension Heidt's Mustang II front end with power rack, tubular control arms 15x8 Eagle Alloy wheels Interior New carpeting and underlayment Volkswagen Jetta buckets {the originals will bolt back in even though i don't have them} New outer window glass seals New mini-gauges New instrument panel bezel New kick panels AM/FM radio {doesn't work} New Humphugger console I tried to describe this as best i could..This car has just been completed and has about 50 test miles.
