This was my project that I don't have the time or money to spend on it after my divorce. Engine, transmission and rear gears completely rebuilt by some top custom shops in the DFW metroplex. The drive train is solid and this truck is a blast to ride. There's nothing left to do with the engine unless you're ready to supercharge it, my next step was paint, dropping the ride and new wheels. Already has aftermarket CD player and speakers. Just needs amp and subs. The hard stuff is done! I've kept this truck maintained religiously and I can provide a spreadsheet of all the maintenance going back to 2009. Someone is going to get a hell of deal with great truck and clean title. Also keep in mind, since I started modifying the engine, I have a second car so this truck is for fun, hauling shit and hauling ass. It's never going to be the fastest thing out there but it's set up right, runs and sounds great. Complete custom Exhaust from the long tube headers all the way to the 4" double wall tips. (you'll see below). New Tires and Battery, A/C is good, only runs on high octane and only gets fed Amzoil. This baby is ready to ride, have fun and continue the project!! Easily $6K in the engine and I've redone the exhaust 3 times until I got it right and made it to Mike's Off Road. They did a killer job. So here's the goods, get ready to smile. I can provide a spreadsheet of all maintenance, dates and miles and most receipts on all the custom engine work. 2003 Chevy Silverado LS 4.8L V8 Extended Cab 300RWHP (Current Miles 170600)****ALL WORK HAS BEEN DONE IN THE LAST 25K MILES SO CONSIDER THIS A NEW TRUCK. COMPLETELY DEPENDABLE******- New Performance Cam: 224/228 .581 .588 LSA, Coan Torque Converter: 2600, High Flow Thermostat and dyno tuning by Quality Motor Sport in Lewisville, TX- I had Quality Motor Sports send my transmission to Indianapolis' famous RPM Transmissions to get rebuilt. Stage 2 kit, Shift kit and corvette servos and balanced. Transmition is Good for up to 500HP. Shifts are solid and never slips. The shift kit is strong. Chirps the tires almost every time going into 2nd gear. You can burn the stock tires all day in this. LOL- Changed to a 3.73 Rear Gear, Removed Clutch Fan, Dual Electric Flex Fans, Long tube Pace Setters Headers by Speedtek in Haltom, TX- 145amp performance alternator with new belts to handle the electric fans- Volant Complete Ram Air, Forced, Cold intake with enclosed high flow air filter. Air comes in through tow hitch opening. - Complete Custom Exhaust System, From the Long Tube Headers, Dual Exhaust with header collectors going to a 2in/2out 3" Magnaflow Exhaust with built in X pipe configuration aka BAD ASS into 4" double wall exhaust tips by Mike's Off Road in Haltom, TX (A lot of custom exhausts are welded to headers and frame and have to be cut to remove. This exhaust can be unbolted for easier access to transmission if needed) - Cowl Induction Hood and Roll Pan on the rear. Some don't like these hoods but when it drops your engine temp by 20 degrees if not more due to some airflow when driving, I think it's worth it. -Kenwood CD Player w/ bluetooth phone capability, New Front Door 6.5" 2-way Quinn Speakers, New Rear Door 4" 2-way Quinn Speakers I'm obsessed with maintaining all my vehicles.
