Vehicle Detail
Super Clean Bright Yellow 1989 Turbo Maserati with new leather seats, new battery, cold air and new Goodyear tires. Clean car fax, no accidents. Car runs great and has no issues. No leaks, transmission shifts smooth, brakes smooth and quiet, all electrical parts (seats, windows, lights) flawless. Everything works! That includes all four windows, power antenna, superb power seats with new bottom leather, cold air, cruise control and an 8-speaker Chyrsler Infiniti system with a Pioneer remote CD system in the trunk. With the hardtop on I just drove it 300 miles in a torrential rainstorm and the top is whisper quiet and 100% waterproof. Body is also totally rattle-free and the doors close like a vault. The black soft top goes up with a minimum of fuss with one person and is also air and water tight but it is showing its age. Some signs of wear but no leaks, including around the glass back window. The hand stitched Italian leather is glove soft and when you drive this car with the hard top on it is like a luxury cruiser. Quiet, smooth and responsive. Kick the turbo and see what happens…oh boy. I can only certify this car happily goes to 110 mph. And the brakes are superb. A truly strong engine that looks and sounds like it was well cared for. No oil or fluid leaks anywhere. Up on a lift the lack of dirt or rust is phenomenal. This color combination is the talk of the town when I drive it to the grocery store. Just drop dead gorgeous. Everybody wants to know what it is, and I just say Maserati and that seems to stop the conversation! As you can see the clear coat is peeling some on the hard top but clearly nothing to worry about. Just put new Goodyears on the back, and I would say the fronts have 90% tread. Notice the Maserati road wheels. Amazing what you could get for a mere $36,000 in 1989. Only issue I know is the leather around the speedometer cowl is peeling and there is a spot of surface rust right at the door hinge on the driver door. Underneath the car has ZERO rust and is rock solid. Every car magazine in the world agrees these cars are collector sleepers. My thought is for under $5,000 you can have a lot of fun driving it while you wait for the value to go up. Even the trunk is carpeted to protect your golf clubs. Have another one on the way, so bid with confidence. Notice have 100% approval rating on ebay. Happy bidding, this one will go fast.
