Up for sale is my 2007 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor - 126007 Miles - 3513 Hours Car has factory order code 730A-POL INTR 355 - True police model built by Ford Motor Company. Standard options included: 1. Heavy duty shock absorbers 2. Heavy duty sway bars 3. Frame reinforcements 4. Engine idle meter 5. Driver/passenger air bags 6. Power steering 7. Dual exhaust 8. Heavy duty battery 9. Power door/locks 10. Window express down 11. Power driver lumbar 12. Anti-lock brakes 14. Light bar connector Car has factory equipment tag 1075-029706/20/05NC. The car was originally shipped to a dealer in Shallotte, NC. Car was purchased by the town of Holden Beach where it was used by the chief of police for 7 years. Car has not seen routine patrol or high speed pursuits associated with typical patrol cars. The town of Holden Beach is only 3.4 sq. miles - If there were high speed pursuits or intense use, it would have been done by the county sheriff's. I did my research on this car 2 months prior to buying it. I know the specifics of what it was used for, how it was used and what the car has seen for the last 7 years. Optional equipment includes: 1. Front license plate bracket 2. 17" Painted full size wheel covers 3. All bodyside mouldings installed 4. Factory installed 3.55 gears (C6 Axle Code) 5. Factory no-spotlight - very hard to find on non-SAP models The following paragraphs will describe the condition and performance of my car: Exterior: Car has paint code (JP) Silver Birch Metallic. It is all original with no resprays or mismatched panels. All body panels are original to the car. All VIN stickers are in the correct spots (under doors, along fenders, behind quarter panels and inside trunk lid) The are almost no scratches in the paint, extremely well taken care of. There are some areas that show the left behind logo imprints- very hard to pick up in picture or in person. They are coming off slowly with goo-gone but it is very time consuming. They should come off instantly with a buffer/compound. Several body shops in town said they could buff/rub them out for around $200; however, none of them are dedicated detail shops so i have been working on them by hand. There is a scrape mark under the right side rear bumper - very hard to pick up in picture. No lightbar imprints. There is one antenna plug on the roof as well as an antenna on the right rear quarter panel. This IS a transmitting/receiving antenna that operates by signal. It is not hooked up or connected to any current by can be used again. This car even has the original paint/chalk marks from the factory on the frame, driveshaft, differential and swaybars. Underside is as clean as the top and has NO rust/rot. Interior: Car has factory interior code (IN) Black/Gray Cloth/Vinyl. Car has NEVER had a cage or center console. Not used for routine patrol. There are ZERO holes on the dash or headliner. This car has not been pulled apart and mismatched to look like a good car inside. Many sellers will take a car and get used interior pieces to make it look as though it has always been that way - Don't be fooled! Driver seat has no tears or rips, no typical hinge tear in the cushion/cover. It does have some scuffs on the left side of the fabric. Passenger seat is near flawless. Rear seat is nearly new but has some fade. Flooring has almost no color age at all - zero wear spots. B-pillars do not have any cutouts and there is no cage ridge in the headliner. Mechanical: This car has NO mechanical defects. It accelerates fast, corners aggressively with minimal body-roll and stops the moment the brakes are pressed. Transmission is smooth and there are no hesitations between shifts. Every change can be heard but not felt. Ride is very smooth. This car has been in North Carolina for most of its life and was NOT included in the ford steering shaft recall. Once it was moved to Ohio, I had the recall performed through Ford. This was done because of the salt during winter months. C6 Axle is extremely responsive and car feels much lighter than typical police models with Z5 or X5 axles (3.27). Electrical / Safety: All electrical items on this car work as they should. There are NO defects. Every light works and every instrument works. Heat is HOT and a/c is COLD. Blower works on all levels with no hesitation. Radio signal is strong. All windows and locks work flawlessly. *What is different about this car is that is has been inspected by the local Ford dealer. Any codes or issues have been checked and fixed. many seller will disregard the issues unless the seller absolutely presses an issue. For example, this car had a airbag code 33. The code only showed with the ignition on, engine off. That code (driver side seat belt assembly has been resolved with a new Ford part). There was also an issue with the abs/brake lights not showing up with the ignition on, engine off - Caused by faulty ABS module. It has been repaired and works as it should. There are ZERO surprises with this car. Please note that this car still has the factory Whelen strobe lights in each corner of the car. 1 In each front corner light and 1 in each taillight. There are are also 1 in each reverse light housing. Each strobe bulb has the original plug n' play connector. Once you have the module and a switch to control the strobes, they are able to be plugged in and used. These are CLEAR per ebay policy and should only be used for legitimate use. Maintenance / Service History Prior to myself owning the car, the chief of police did the majority of the maintenance himself. Because the town was so small, each officer was responsible for his/her own car. This car has had maintenance performed every 3000 miles per the Ford severe service schedule. It has also had transmission services every 30,000 miles. Since I have owned the car, I have had it maintained every 5000 miles as I have no hard driving and barely use it. The most recent service was performed at 125,000 miles - Work performed included: 1. 8 Motorcraft spark plugs 2. Clean coil plugs 3. Air filter 4. PCV valve 5. Oil filter 6. Oil flush 7. Transmission top off 8. Power steering top off 9. Master cylinder fluid flush 10. New Everstart 5 year battery Front brakes are at 80% Rear brakes are at 75% Tires: Tires are NEW and have less than 500 miles on them. They are General G-Max AS-03 high performance all season tires. These are the BEST tires on the market by far. They are very quiet, very responsive, and handle excellent in any weather condition. Treadwear is 480. Temperature and traction are both A. Speed rated for 168 MPH. Clean & Clear Ohio title 1 - Owner CarFax Clean history with ZERO accidents Car is OBDII/LVII certified and CAN be sold in California and smogged.
