Selling my wifes Jetta that she bought new in 2003.The car has every option available except the rear spoiler. She has been then only driver of the car. She upgraded to something bigger and we have no need for this car now. It does need some work as I've listed it as mechanics special. I will mostly speak about the issues of the car. Body- Paint still shines nice,typical scratches here and there. Never hit or repainted, there is a small dent on the passenger side fender from a deer that ran into the fender, could be popped out I'm sure. Headlights are a little foggy. Windshield is cracked where the review mirror is located so it will need a new windshield for inspection. Interior- Black Leather & Sunroof. Fairly Nice interior, radio knobs are missing and console latch is broken. Seats are solid with no tears but typical wear for leather. AC is ice cold, heated seats work great. Some power door locks work with the remote others don't but they all work with the key and switches inside. Sunroof works perfect, all gauges and everything else inside works perfect. Drivetrain- 128k miles, timing belt was done at approx 60k so another one will need to be done soon, check engine light is on, mechanic said there is many vacuum leaks. Mass Air sensor, o2 sensors, air filter are all new with less then 1k miles. The valve cover gasket does leak,new gasket included with sale along with a new fuel filter. Car runs and drives ok and then at times it will have a idle surge, if you turn the car off and then back on it goes away but will surge every few miles. Tires were replaced in December with only approx 1k miles on them. It will need new rear brake pads and rotors. I'm listing this with No reserve, the car is listed locally.
