1984 Jeep Cj7- NEEDS NEW ENGINE I am selling my jeep because I don't have the time to replace the engine and before it threw a rod I almost never drove it. I have owned it for two years and it has been garage kept for its entire life. It was running fine until about three weeks ago and I'm not sure what caused it to throw a rod. Everything else under the hood is fine. It has a weber carb, a high performance distributor, good transmission, optimal battery. The jeep has a suspension lift and is equipped with rough country shocks. The 5 tires are like new and are on Dick Cepek rims( Goodyear 33x12.5OR15LT), like new black bikini top, rain trap, black soft half doors, new SONY cd player, the previous owner installed two large speaker amps under the back seat but I currently do not use them because the stereo is loud enough for me without them but is wired for a sub woofer. The jeep is in fantastic condition and with a new motor would be near perfect. There is very little rust on the exterior and I have included close up pictures of those spots. None of the spots go all of the way through and the floor boards are in great condition. It is equipped with Smittybuilt running boards. Please feel free to ask me any questions.
