Vehicle Detail

If you have ever wanted a 1967 Cougar, this is THE ONE you want. It's a factory black on black 390 four barrel, four speed manual transmission with no vinyl top GT car. It doesn't get any better than that. I'm certain this is a very rare car but I have NOT done a Marti Report on it. The car is totally complete except for the transmission and driveshaft. Someone allegedly took the 390 out years ago and replaced it with a 428. I'm not sure. I checked the intake manifold numbers and they are correct for a 67 GT. The engine has a later model Holley 750 carb on it and is complete but I know nothing else about it and am recovering from a detatched retina so I can't be of much help there right now. It still has the bellhousing, but the transmission is gone.... UNLESS it's in the trunk of the car. I have no key and have never been able to open the trunk. The rare and expensive original shifter is still with the car along with the correct big block radiator and a condensor for the aftermarket underdash air conditioner. The interior is suprisingly decent. Like all Cougars, the dashpad has warped. The headliner and carpet will need replaced and the front bucket seats need recovering but the panels are all good and the interior is all there. I even have some extra interior for it. The interior is black deluxe. The glass is all good and all of the trim is present as well. The wheel wells and rockers are good. I believe there is some rust in the floor and torque box. The doors open and shut great with no sagging. The shock towers are good. The rearend is the original 9 inch with 3.00:1 non-locking gears.I bought this car from Kansas with NO TITLE. I did get a bill of sale and have had the police do a nationwide search and got a clean police inspection on the car. The bill of sale and police report I'm told can be taken to your county judge and request a court ordered title for the car. I have not done it. The other way is to get a mechanics lein from a local repair facility. You will NOT be able to ship this car out of the country until YOU get a title so please bear that in mind if you are international bidder. This is a rare and cheap opportunity to get the ultimate 67 Cougar project. I can store the car for up to seven days at no charge. After that, unless prior arrangements are agreed upon, I have to charge $10/day storage at a local hot rod shop because people have a bad habit of buying things from me and then NEVER coming to get them. Your bid is agreement to those terms.
