This car needs a timing chain, It is currently running, but should not be driven. For sale is this sexy black 1999 BMW 540i sedan. I've owned it for over a year now bought from the original owner (a good friend of mine) who hated selling it as much as I do. This vehicle has been taken care of very well over the years but now it needs a timing chain and tensioners and I simply don't have the extra money to keep it up. The vehicle comes with an extra set of Vredestein Race/Sport tires for summer (nearly a $1,000.00 value alone). Has 2 working key remotes and the valet key. Vehicle is very fast and has the stock M steering and suspension sport package. The interior is very clean with no tears in the black leather. Only the center console wood grain plate is damaged, the rest has very minor wear and tear. The exterior as well has some minor dings here and there, no major or big dents. The front bumper is cracked on the left front corner and may need to be replaced. Upgraded wheels BBS (6 matching) with all season radial tires that still have a little life left.
