Up for auction is a 1971 Dart that has been restored not a 100 point show car but a decent driver. Almost everything has been rebuilt or replaced at one point in time. The car was built to be a fast streetable driver that you can drive and enjoy. I have pictures to to verify all work with car striped down. Body and paint was all redone and painted rallye red with PPG DBC and PPG DCU clear coat, was done a several years ago and still looks great, the Engine bay, trunk, and jams ect is all painted body color like a mopar should. The front suspension was completely disassembled k member everything was rebuilt including steering box and used the good Moog ball joints and energy suspension polyurethane master kit. I have a manual box that I was going to put in that I will include because the pump leaks a little, had it rebuilt but started leaking the next summer and it robs horsepower so I was going with a manual box. The rear suspension has superstock springs, 8 3/4 rearend that has been upgraded with 3.55 suregrip unit and all new bearing ect. The engine is a very healthy 340 with JE pistons 10.8 to 1 compression, x heads, mopar 508 cam, mopar m1 single plane intake, mopar adjustable rockers, mopar mini starter, Edelbrock 850 thunder series carb, MSD distributor and MSD igniton box, tti headers and exhaust system with dynomax mufflers. Sounds awesome gets compliments all the time. The trans is a 727 with all turbo action components including manual valve body and I will include stock valve body also and a 3400 turbo action stall converter. The car runs out nice, very fast stock appearing car makes a lot of power and is a blast on the street, you can get in trouble real fast lol. This is a great car to drive to Mopar nats race or cruise and have a blast in! The seats were redone with new foam and upholstery front and back, it does need a headliner never got to it. The car has ran 11.96 at 113 in race form in the quartermile but made mods to make it very streetable still easy 12 second street car. I have over $10,000 dollar in reciepts just in the engine, trans, rear and suspension parts alone not including all labor and time so all serious buyers call me at 812-530-7384.
