Hello and Thank you for looking. For sale is my 1972 FJ40 project. This FJ is very close to license and drive. I would say a couple Saturdays spent and you will have it up and going. Truck has a couple month old Bestop brand soft top kit included. I never put it on frame work, still in the box. Truck has all new 4-wheel disc brakes already plumbed and installed. Brakes are 100% all new line and hoses as well. Truck has a spring over conversion done, giving it approximately 4" of lift. Wheels and tires are all new with no miles. Tires are 33", rims are aluminum 15X12, Truck has a smooth quiet idling, original straight 6, starts right up along with original transfer case and 3-speed trans which goes in and out of gears well. Floors are all new, front to back, all fit and welded in. Has Corbeu style racing seats mounted on slides for easy adjustment. Truck has new plastic duel reservoir master cylinder as well as plastic new style master for clutch. Windshield is brand new with OEM gasket. All four shocks are brand new as well. Fuel system is all new and recently installed. Consists of Holley Blue pump frame mounted as well as Holley low pressure regulator and gauge feeding the relatively new Webber 3638 Carburetor. Truck also has full length chrome header with brand new custom bent and built exhaust. All in OEM location. Gas tank is new poly tank also in factory location under passenger seat. It comes with original rear jump seats not pictured. They are in decent original shape. Has clean South Carolina title. Frame on the truck is very nice, all floor cross members were in good shape so just sheet metal of floors were replaced. Wiper motor works as it should. Wiring is factory. Dash board lights work and front lights all activate when switch is pulled. Rear tail lights are not wired but wiring is there. Truck comes with 4 drive shafts all original, will need U-joints...I would think. Also has GM steering box conversion done, steers with on finger. If I were to finish this project, I would put the new DUI Distributor in that is available like GM. It still has original points distributor. I have driven truck around my shop as a project and that's how I'm listing. All the hard work has been done to it, and most of the money is spent. Easy project for someone motivated to finish. Just bought a home so that's more important. Truck is an attention getter, has great patina and awesome cool factor. Also has original rear bumperettes. Thank you for looking. Truck runs quiet but needs a tune up. Been sitting inside a bit but can be driven on a transporter or trailer.
