Mechanics special. Please read before you bid. This truck needs to be repaired to be safe. Until December 2014 this was a perfect running and great looking truck except for rusted out rocker panels and a few paint touch ups where it got scratched. This was in the family since 2002 and we always had synthetic oil in everything from the engine to the whole drivetrain. I waxed this truck 3 times a year which is why the paint still looks so nice after 14 years. The truck is dirty in the pictures from sitting for the last three months. I start it once a week to keep things running perfect. Mechanically this is still a perfect truck and it still drives although the police told me after the accident that I could only drive it home due to the damage. It was rear ended and my insurance company totaled it but I kept it and the title is still clear. In Wisconsin if the vehicle is over 7 years old you do not have to retitle it as a salvage so if you fix this truck it will be totally clear for you. This truck is basically going to be a mechanics special. It is too good to part out but if you have another one of these trucks or can get the parts and replace the rear 1/3 of the frame and replace/repair the box and tailgate you will have a perfect running and great looking truck. It has newer Firestone Destination AT tires on it and the box on the driver side is rubbing on the tire a little. You will need to pick this up with a trailer, you cannot drive it that way unless you really want to cut a little corner off the box. The interior is in really nice shape, this truck was well taken care off. I have test driven these same trucks lately with half the miles and they ran like garbage and seemed loose. The engine and complete drivetrain in my truck is tight and excellent. Thank you for looking.
