I am selling the car for the owner who is battling cancer, the reserve price MUCH lower than the total invested into the car. Easy restoration project for someone looking for something to be ready for spring! VIN 1582067503 Partially restored Volkswagen Cabriolet using original, after market and NOS OEM German parts. Car has less than 15K miles and has a clean PA title. Sale price includes 95% of the parts necessary to complete the restoration. Additional parts needed but NOT included are carpet kit, door panels, running boards, misc hoses, misc interior trim, bumper impact strips, bumper end caps, and misc odds/ends. Paint work was done by Manny of Zack and Tony’s Auto Body for $4,500. I’ve highlighted a few of the minor chips and scratches that have incurred from the car sitting in storage. The paint work includes door jams and exposed areas such as tire well and door interior. The black top is original and is in absolutely amazing condition. The seats have aftermarket seat covers installed by the previous owner. The foam and cushion underneath should be replaced to match the detail of restoration given to the rest of the car. Wheels are refinished with new tires. The motor is highly detailed with a working fuel injection system. Battery rusted out floor section and the entire floor pan was professionally replaced.
