The Jacobsen MFG in Racine Wisconsin experimented with about 8 of these kits mounted on several makes of bikes. One of these were sold by Mikey Bike in Chicago & that one is on the internet fully restored. Some of the bike kits used the same dry clutch belted to the rear sheave. Was the same clutch as Marman & Jack Hinetz used. I elected to use a centrifugal clutch. Jacobsen engine is 3 1/2 hp with lots of get & go. The kit is mounted on a springer Hawthorne frame 26". The first of these kits used A rather ugly looking tank mounted on the side & interfered with the rider. I elected to build the box type tank. The Jacobsen engine is a strong runner these. Frame has been powder coated & tank professionally painted & striped . Comes with new tires. Payment terms: Payment to be made in 7 days of auction end. Your buying as is with no return on the item.
