Vehicle Detail
As described above, this Jeep was rebuilt in 2009 with low miles. The previous owner had it repaired for his daughter to drive to college. We bought it in Aug. 2013 with 92,500 miles on it. I have a bodyshop (since 1987) and rebuild vehicles. I had so much customer work, I didn't have time to repair one for us, so we bought this one. The repairs look excellent. The frame was replaced. When we bought it, the abs and traction control dash lights were on, and they still are. The hood has a few small hail dings (barely noticeable on the silver). It has a few scuffs and small scratches, nothing major. The Jeep looks great for a 2007. The doors have been taken on and off many times, so the hinges have a little surface rust where the doors slide on, again, nothing major, but I want to mention it. The A/C works great, good heat. We have never had this Jeep offroad or mudding. We have drove it the last 2 weeks during our ice storm. I finally had to put it in 4wd and it was hard to get it to engage, when it finally engaged, it made a banging noise. I got down the icy road, then it was very hard to get it back in 2wd. I finally got it back to 2wd, and it was good to go again. I have been driving it ever since (in 2wd). I have not checked it to see what the problem is yet. I want to repeat, it does fine in 2wd, but does have an issue with the 4wd. I am just trying to be honest. I buy and sell many rebuildable vehicles that I sell local. I am expanding my business, and I have to free up some funds, so I am listing some on here. I have 3 Wranglers and am selling 2. I bought us a newer model with low miles, and I have it almost finished. This Jeep is not a piece of junk that I am trying to pass on. We have kept it maintained. I put updated front steering linkage on it last summer and had it aligned. ( It was starting to get the Jeep wobble). I installed tires and wheels from a 2013 wrangler, they still have low miles on them, and the spare is still new. They are Bridgestone dueler A/T 255/70/18. We just came back from a 1,000 mile round trip in it. You can get this and drive it back, with no worries. This is a good Jeep, but it DOES need the 4wd issue checked if you plan on using the 4x4. It has power windows, locks, remote entry, A/C, CD player and automatic transmission. I also have a bikini top that goes with it. I have the title in hand. This Jeep is ready to be titled and tagged in your name and drive. I also have a 2009 ready to go, check out my other listings, thanks. I want to say one more time so there are no surprises, the 4wd needs to be serviced. The miles will increase some, as I still drive it around. It is the 3 piece hardtop.
