THIS IS A LOCAL PICK-UP ONLY AUCTION. This '84 300cd is in incredible mechanical and physical shape. It runs like a clock. There are absolutely no leaks, burning oil, the turbo works flawlessly, the AC blows strong and ICE COLD. Sunroof and all windows operate fully. Suspension is tight and steering and driveshafts are also tight. I had bought this vehicle last november when moving to California in a private sale and now I have to sell the car because work has taken me back to the east coast. I do not have the heart to subject this rust free car to the salt and weather of the north east and therefore will cannot take it with me. Whoever wins this auction will be very happy, especially if they already know how special these cars are and dependable. If you are not familiar with these cars then I strongly suggest you come see it before bidding or do not bid at all. If you are familiar with this benz model you will not be disappointed. Just know that this is an as-is auction, deposits will not be refunded. If you would like to see the car it can be arranged no problem. I've mentioned some of the good above but I will restate:California Car absolutely no rust clean underneath and throughout. Suspension is tight. A/C is strong and ICE COLDEngine is strong, no leaks, no burning oil. Very powerful on freeways and driving up hills through canyons. All windows switches, sunroof, instruments work.The dash is near mint.The body is near perfect, with a few minor dings barely noticeable. See photos. Was repainted some time ago with same Mercedes colour 540 Barolorot.New sony bluetooth deck with mic and alpine amp, very good sounding stereo. The bad: The rear seat needs some minor work which I may have fixed before end of auction - see pic. The wood trim surrounding the gear shift is chipped in two places. There are two scratches which I have posted pictures up, very minor. It's not really that bad but I like to disclose everything. See pics and you will know what I mean. Door Window seals show age but by no means leaking or allowing whirring breeze in while on freeway. I am very sad to have to sell this car - it is a pleasure to drive.
