My black 1996 Adventurer is for sale. I don't have the time to ride much anymore but there is nothing wrong with this bike except for normal wear and tear and that it is a 1996. It has just over 17,000 miles on it. It has been garage kept since I bought it four years ago. The previous owner also garage kept it (so he said) and nothing about the bike leads me to believe he did otherwise. It has never been dropped and only really ridden on weekends for fun when the weather is nice. The tires still have plenty of tread. I recently replaced the battery, which had died due to me really not riding very much in the cold weather. I now keep it on a trickle charger and it starts up first time, every time. The only minor problem with it, as mentioned above, is the tachometer needle has broken off (it's still in the casing actually). I assume this is just to the plastic degrading over time. The needle still moves, but instead of being 2 or 3 inches long, it's more like 1cm long. An easy fix. It comes with original Triumph saddlebags which are in good condition. The left one has two of the three buckles missing but both sides are still perfectly functional. The previous owner added aftermarket, fold up, highway pegs which are quite comfortable, as the Adventurer is quite an upright back. I will not ship this bike so you will have to arrange pickup or transport for it. Payment is via cash or PayPal only. I have the title in hand and will sign it over to you once payment has been verified. There will also be no test rides. I don't need to sell this bike, I'm just moving it along to someone that can probably get more enjoyment out of it than I can as I don't have much time to ride anymore. I'll start it and run it for you as long as you wish, I'll even ride it up and down the street for you, but no test rides I'm afraid. Thanks for looking.
