1948 chevy thrift master half ton, base model with no factory options. summer truck for my wife currently has a 75-78 chevy truck drivetrain, turn key 305 v8 with new aluminum intake and summit 4bbl carb, mild cam, high volume oil pump new rings, bearings, cam (mild Lope) and timing chain. Ram horn exhaust manifolds. engine was gone through for minor lower engine noise, noise still there after gone through and everything done, truck has been driven daily all summer like this without any issue. Transmission is a newer rebuilt th 350 with new factory torque converter. Rear axle is the factory 75-78 10 bolt gm truck axle, has exhaust leak at donut gasket and exhaust ends under bed The truck has fully rebuilt suspension, factory springs with all new greasable bushings and pins, new rear shocks, brand new steering column and steering box, all steering tight and adjusted. 4 brand new tires brakes have been converted to power disc up front with 70's drums in the rear. Paint is driver quality, body has had previous work done and has various scratches and blemishes Bed has new wood and strips Interior has decent black seat, factory styling digital radio, still have factory radio delete plate, has updated electric wipers that need adjusted, drivers door needs adjustment window is cracked, window regulators need attention, drivers crank missing truck sold as is with no warranties
