Vehicle Detail
Engine has only 50,000 miles on it, I replaced it when I bought the vehicle, still have the receipt for all major work done to the car. After six years of owning this vehicle I am very sad to have to part with it. Last week my car slid across black ice and I hit a guard rail. There is extensive damage to the front end, the rear quarter panel on the passenger side is bent and the rear bumper is scuffed. I took a risk and drove the car home despite the front strut being bent. Brakes worked, and the car just doesn't want to stop going. Engine and transmission are still strong, I made it to 3rd gear but wouldn't dare drive over 15mph. Car starts and runs, from what I can tell there are zero problems with the motor or transmission. I've taken great care of the interior, all window motors work, no blown speakers, regular seat and carpet shampoo, the only broken part is the pull-out cup holder behind the center console, any part that broke in this car I've replaced with OEM Nissan parts. The junkyard will pay me $500 just for the weight of the vehicle. I'm starting the auction out at that. Clean title still in hand, can be rebuilt I just don't have the time because I work over 60 hours per week and need the driveway space. From my inspection here is a list of parts that need to be replaced to get this drivable again: Front strut assembly, alignment, front bumper, upper radiator support (no leaks, bends, or breaks with the radiator itself, it was replaced 3 years ago), headlight, front passenger fender, fog light. Beyond that, there is the obvious cosmetic damage that could be repaired in time. If you have any questions or want more details or a photo of a specific part of the car I am willing to answer please feel free to ask. There are plenty of Spec-V's out there that need motors and this one has a very strong motor with plenty of life left in it. I've been open and honest about the condition of the vehicle, this will need to be towed.
