DESCRIPTION: You are bidding on a 1979  Toyota FJ55 Land Cruiser "Iron Pig". This is a modified off road  project. It has a lot going for it but also needs a fair amount  of work to complete. Overall the body is in very good condition  compared to a lot out there, it does have the common rust spots  on the front fenders that goes first but other than that there  is not much rot. The floor pans are very solid all the way  through. It comes with a spare passenger rear door that isn't  cut. This has been modified, it has a  small block Chevy 400 motor and a 4 speed manual transmission  (not sure which model) it also has GM axles but again not sure  from what. It has a long range 25 gallon gas tank, power  steering, power brakes, Edelbrock 4 barrel carb. There are some things that need to  be addressed, the choke isn't hooked up so it is hard to start  cold (easy fix). the hood latch needs to be repaired so you can  unlatch it from inside. The biggest issue is that it bump  steers, meaning if your driving straight all of a sudden it  jumps to the side, also it has a very poor turning radius. I had  this looked at and I have received a few ideas on why this may  be. Because it has GM axles and a heavier GM engine, I think it  needs different springs as well as a lift, this will help it  from catching. That is what I was told at least. I am not big in  to the off road realm which is why I am electing to sell this  and focus on different projects. RETURN POLICY This vehicle is sold  strictly AS IS, WHERE IS.
