im selling a 2002 vw beetle. silver with black leather int. heated seats and sunroof. let me start by saying the car is a 2002. it is not new. the car runs good. sunroof operates like it should. power windows and mirrors. working heated seats. has the am/fm/ cassette player. pwr steering, new tires, pads, wipers. car has nicks and chipped paint on hood and front and rear bumpers. i was using the car to drive to work. car has the 2.0 4cyl motor. gonig over the car i have not seen any oil leaks. the car runs good and idles good. the serpentine belt looks like it could be replaced, see a few cracks on it. airbag light just came on just over a week ago. dealer says the bags are in working order, the light is scheduled to come on and certain intervals. i have purchased a new beetle, and want to sell this one. i parked it on a friends car lot locally to help get it sold. there is a notary there and he can do the transfer on-site, or isue a temp tag if you wish. again the car is not new. it is being sold as-is. my friend can attached a 3 month 4500 mile warranty with the sale for an additional $150.00. this is a good car at 27-29 mpg under $ 2,000 On Jan-25-15 at 16:54:51 PST, seller added the following information: want to make sure that it is clear. as we all know when listing anything you get alot of questions. the car is at my friends car lot. if someone bids and wins . this is what will happen 1.non refundable deposit will be made via paypal. 24hours.no exceptions. 2. if my reserve is reached, i will arrange for windhield to be replaced. and paid for. 3. my friend will handle transfer, title work, bill of sale etc.. for me. this is a cash deal. a 3 month 4500 mile warranty can be added for( $ 125.00. just an option. ) 4. if your local i will take the car over to the inspection mechanic so its done for you.
