1969 AMX 390 Auto X code no rust! This was a 2 owner car until recently. Owner had to sell because of health problems. 24,xxx on odo could be correct but cannot verify. I bought car from friend of the family. Mostly original 1969 AMX X code 390 with automatic and positive traction. Nearly a perfect body with no rust! Solid and rust free underneath. Most solid unibody car I have ever seen. Great project car. Interior in fair shape. Interior panels, seat covers, carpet and headliner have been replaced in the past and have some wear. A few lights and gauges not working. Car runs and drives. I drove it home 2 hours away a week ago with no problems. Engine runs strong with no problems. Transmission shifts properly and positive traction rear is working. New brakes and front end bushings. New Holley 600 4 barrel carburetor and good tires. Old thick enamel paint is cracking and peeling. (pictured) 1 tiny dent in C post but otherwise perfect body with straight lines and no body work. Original color was matador red. Has 390 stamped on block believe to be original. You could do a few minor things to make it a driver or great place to start for restoration to make a show car. Has original glass, body panels, chrome and trim all in great shape. I will try to get some better pictures and a video soon.
