The photos were taken the day of the listing, January 25, 2015, and show the car in its current condition! We have owned this car for two years, it has been driven by my step-daughter for the majority of the two years. It was a trade in at a new car dealership when we purchased it used back in 2013. We have serviced it and kept it maintained although it has had a hard couple of years, teenager learning to drive, not a bad kid but has trouble paying attention to the road. She is now a senior in High School so we just recently replaced the car with a newer model! The car runs and drives great, engine, transmission and brakes work properly, stereo works, air conditioning is cold, heat is hot and seat warmers work. Many positive things to say about “the bug” and the main one is the car is very tough, always cranks runs and drives, not a mechanical nightmare, we have experienced very few issues over the 2 years mechanically and it gets right at 40 miles per gallon of diesel. The negative things to mention create a long list, most of them being cosmetic, first of all as you can see in the photos the air bags are blown out, someone hit her in the front right bumper in a parking lot and the air bags blew out, it pierced a hole in the front bumper, almost ripped out the passenger headlight, did rip out and break off the passenger marker light, cracked the passenger front fender, busted the front grille loose and it is tied on, before that happened she hit something and broke the driver’s side mirror mount and it is taped on, sometime before that she hit a curb on the passenger lower side behind the door and bent it, before that a tree limb fell on it in the driveway and put a few dents in the roof, it has an air bag light on the dash, a check engine light on, the glove compartment is broke off and in pieces, the inside door handle that you grab to close it on the passenger side is broke off, the passenger’s side electric window is stuck up and will not go down, the vinyl material on both doors is falling down and is taped up, the center console lid is broke off, the headliner is falling down and pushed up with tacks, the sun roof cover has no headliner material on it, sunroof actually works with no problems, other than all that the little diesel bug is ready to roll! She quit driving it just a few days ago, we cleaned it and took photos for this listing, nothing more than what you see has been done to it~ As stated it cranks, runs and drives, will drive to your location, is roadworthy and being sold with a clean, clear title!
