Vehicle Detail

1970 Dodge ChallengerVin #JH23GOE105113I have no idea on overall mileage of car, odometer it shows 77058 that I know is not correct.Bought in Greeley Colorado August 7, 2005 from a shop that had done a restoration on the car which included new paint, interior and some mechanical workAlmost every bit of the work we did to this was completed in 2008-10. We have receipts for almost everything we did. ExteriorPainted in 2005 with Dupont single stage Acrylic enamel Chrysler white. The paint job is not show car caliber however looks great for street car. The wing and hood are painted correct flat black.Year one reproduction Go-wing and eye browsUnlimited Products reproduction T/A hood and hood pins, their web site shows this car and hoodThere is a dime sized ding on top of the left front fenderGrill and tail chrome and trim all in great shape, Gas flip-door is pitted and the front park lights work however are cracked. There is not an antenna mounted, Glass is all good no cracks or flaws. There are no windshield wiper on car. Motor and arms are there just no wipers. It never rains here and car has never been in rain since 2005.All lights work. There is a battery shut off switch mounted through the rear license plate, however is not hooked up to battery at this time.American Racing wheels Torq Thrust M 17x8 all around. TCI transmission has a manual valve body with a forward shifting pattern.Auto-Meter water temp and oil pressure gauges and TachFactory speedometer has never worked correctly for us and we just never worried about it. It moves but is way off.Moon “Bare foot” gas pedal and dimmer switch.Original double seat belts for front seat and single in back all in good condition.New gas tank, straps and sending unit. Tank was also sealed prior to installation. All new fuel line.Taylor aluminum battery box in trunk with all new cable to engine. Exide battery installed May 2014. No spare tire or jack equipment. Suspension, Steering and Brakes, supplied by “Just Suspension” we used their Works Kit. Which included everything and I mean everything for the suspension front and rear. There is too much to list. Please check out their web site. We also ordered the Flaming River quick ratio manual steering box, One inch lower springs in back. Wilwood front disc brake kit with large manual aluminum master cylinder. Also installed a front brake line lock. This car drives, corners and handles outstanding. I think it should have electric fans added if you live in a warm area. All new hoses Engine I traveled to Maquoketa Iowa to have Scott Schurbon build this motor. Back around 2007-2010 Mopar magazines would have engine build offs and his shop would usually win or come in second every time. When I shopped around for an engine builder he was the only one that welcomed me to come watch while the engine was dyno tuned and broke in. No other shop would allow such a thing. What a cool experience. Scott built the motor then we took into Siegwarth Motorsports in Otter Creek Iowa for the dyno tune and break in. Bob Siegwarth is independent to Schurbon and he will give honest dyno numbers. There was no inflating or tweaking the truth like some shops will try to give you. This motor came in at 475 horsepower and 510 foot pounds of torque and I have the print out to prove it. This is a 360 magnum block bored and stroked to 410 ci. The basic list of part is listed and again I have the entire list and receipt.Probe forged pistonsMelling oil pumpComp cams and lifterMaximum roller rockers 1.5Milodon deep pan and pick upMagnum heads SI severe duty 8mm valvesPower Bond balancerAED 750 carb.Edelbrock manifoldMopar electronic ignition The list goes on and on. Everything was new and the right stuff to use. Built to last. Schurbons big thing is porting and polishing the heads getting them to flow the absolutely best. This is where he makes huge power numbers. You will hear and feel the power. Topped off with TTI headers and flow master mufflers. I could go on and on about this build but it would not do it justice. Needed parts. Speedometer does not work. It has a small oil leak at the pan gasket that I have not had time to fix. Why selling When my son said he was joining the Navy, I bought him this car, he was 15 years old. . While in high school he would drive it to school and around town. It ran OK, looked good but like all of us he wanted more. He was in the Navy 2007 - 2013. He is now out of the Navy and going to school, guns and hunting have taken over. So it’s time to move on. I always tried to get the best parts and make this car a bad ass driver and great looking muscle car. If I could not do the work myself I took it to the pro’s. Overall mileage since 2007 is less than 1500 miles. It has never left the county. It gets started maybe once a month and goes for about a 3 - 10 mile drive and gets parked, this is not an exaggeration. . If you have questions e-mail me at Dirtbuds1@aol.com I will assist in getting the car to a shipper. I will accept a check however the car will not leave until check clears. If you pick up the car in person bring cash Any questions please call me Mike805-801-20579AM - 9PM pacific time We are located on the Central coast of California, about 90 miles north of Santa Barbara.
