Odometer says around 125K which does not tell us much. Almost everything has been replaced or restored on my watch. this Super Beetle was a multiple show winner when I bought it from a local VW enthusiast here in Tulsa a few years ago. I have enjoyed owning it very much. I opted to replace the dash rather than retain the "dash cover" it had when I bought it. My mechanic found a guy who makes them by hand to original stock specs. The car did not need to be restored when I got it, but it was so nice I wanted to go the final step and bring it to the next level of "showroom" I suppose you could say. It starts instantly, runs perfectly, drives and tracks perfectly. The left turn signal does not usually cancel automatically, so I have to give the lever a light nudge after a left turn to turn the signal off. The latch to the front bonnet, located in the glove box, gets a little stubborn and needs a little WD-40 now and then. I'm missing the little plastic cap that is used to cover the middle of the window crank on the passenger side. Otherwise, everything works as it should. The window stripping is new. The heater, vents, seat adjustments, seat belts, ash tray, glove box latch, wing windows, rear defroster, parking brake, horn, and all lighting work perfectly. There are some tiny hairline cracks in the plastic of the right rear tail light lens due to age which are difficult to see. The tires are new to include the spare, and a custom vinyl storage bag was manufactured to store the stock jack and tire tool. The seats have new vinyl and new firm padding and spring work. The windows crank up and down as they should and the car is air tight with all new rubber and felt stripping. All sheet metal is clean and rust free No bondo or body filler of any kind. This Super Beetle does not smoke or leak. All perishables have been replaced and it does not drip any fluids of any kind. I replaced the windshield about a year ago due to a tiny rock chip. The wipers work as they should with fresh blades and the washer fluid sprays right. This bug is completely sorted out right down to the stock Sapphire radio and analog clock which keeps almost perfect time. It is powered by the stock 1600 engine, but my mechanic told me it has been bored out to 1800 at some point. It glides down the highway at 70 MPH effortlessly and smooth as glass. I have never seen another Super Beetle as correct as this one. I will try to answer any questions. Winning bidder must PayPal me 500 dollars for deposit within 24 hours of end of auction. The price barely covers the paint job. Full payment within 7 days in the form of cash or bank cashier's check. No wire transfers. This bug will remain in my possession until my bank confirms funds. Every aspect of shipping is the responsibility of the winning bidder but I will do my best to cooperate and communicate. Winning bidder must have this bug shipped within 30 days max, so please reconsider bidding if you think that may be a problem. Clear Oklahoma title in my name will be signed, notarized, and registered mailed to the winning bidder as soon as payment is verified. I had to stop and then re-start this auction for reasons that do not have anything to do with the car. My apologies to any previous bidders. Mileage will vary because I do drive it. I am listing it this time as low as I can possibly go, and for a fraction of what I have invested. Let my loss be your gain. This Super Beetle needs nothing and is ready to enjoy. It is much better than others listed at twice, or even 3 times what I'm asking. I am confident the buyer will not be disappointed. It's really hard to let her go so I just want to find her a nice home. First $4500 owns it. Thanks for your interest.
