For sale is a 1968 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser with the original 3.9 ltr 2 engine and 3 speed transmission (has the newer 2F valve cover and has been converted to floor shift). Hasn't been driven in a couple years but will run with gas in the carb (does smoke). Doesn't have working breaks but I have the replacement brake parts (wheel cylinders and other). I have front and back seats plus a few extras, have a good set of doors and the windshield frame without glass. Transmission makes noise in a couple gears, probably needs a rebuild, not high speed road worthy. We bought it 10 years ago as a project and drove it around for hunting and unfortunately it's still a project. Clean Texas title, don't know the mileage. As to the body its in rough shape, the rear fenders have had lots of bondo work done, taillights have been recessed into the body. There are a few rust holes in the rear inside fenders. Been in storage for the past 10 years. No rust holes in the floor pans. Undercarriage is mainly dirty with only surface rust. Not much to look at but its solid. I think its missing to many original parts to be a restoration but perfect custom or hunting vehicle. I will consider delivery for a mileage fee.
